Joan Wallace holds a doctorate in Education and has taught for almost 20 years in schools in the United Kingdom. She has spent the last 12 years promoting and running the Family Enrichment Programme in London, Glasgow, Manchester, Oxford and Bristol, and currently, she is also working with disadvanted families in south London, to improve family communication and raise the academic aspirations of the young.
The topics covered in the DVD touched on meeting the challenges of bringing up children today; the importance of the parents in improving good role models for their children from the earlies years; communication of values, and creating the kind of environment than can give teenagers strength of character to be able to meet the future with confidence and make positive contribution to society.
